Located in the scenic north of Wuhan’s East Lake, OCT Wuhan is a stunning water park that covers an area of 160,000 m². The water park integrates evocative theming that pulls inspiration from ancient Mayan culture and features a variety of modern water recreation attractions. Combining the two, OCT Wuhan delivers an unparalleled entertainment experience of over 17 world-class water attractions and an immersive escape to an ancient Mayan environment.

Relationship

OCT Wuhan marked the beginning of a long-standing, trusted relationship between OCT and ProSlide. The two companies first established their partnership based on a mutual appreciation for ProSlide’s quality water rides, innovations, and support. From the success of OCT Wuhan, OCT and ProSlide continued to work together on additional parks, including OCT Shanghai and OCT Tianjin Happy Valley.

Opportunities

As ProSlide’s first opportunity to work on an OCT park, the company developed a world-class ride mix full of iconic water attractions. Among them were proven, ground-breaking water rides such as a triple TORNADO 24 + TORNADO 60, BehemothBOWL 60 + TornadoWAVE 60, and the park’s marquee ride, China’s first LIM-powered water coaster, a HydroMAGNETIC PIPEline. This magnetically powered water ride brings a rollercoaster-like experience to OCT Wuhan with thrilling speeds and increased acceleration.
