This all-ProSlide water park stands as one of the largest water parks in all of Asia and debuted ProSlide’s famous TornadoWAVE.
At 32, 000 m², Wanda Hefei Water Park is the largest indoor water park in Eastern China. Located in Sunac Mall and part of Wanda Hefei Culture and Tourism City, this indoor entertainment facility is designed with a Hawaiian-inspired theme that runs throughout the park. With 13 large-scale water attractions, including seven world-class ProSlide water rides, Wanda Hefei is a destination for water lovers in Eastern China.
Designing one of the largest water parks in Asia, Beijing Happy Magic was destined to be a high-traffic entertainment attraction. Having previously worked together on the Water Cube in Beijing, Happy Magic Tourism Consulting was well aware of the industry-leading service and design that ProSlide brings to its projects. For Beijing Happy Magic, the company chose ProSlide as the sole water ride provided for the park and created the first water park in China designed with 100% ProSlide water rides.
Being such a high-profile water park in Beijing, the park needed iconic water rides that offered exceptional performance and thrilling experiences to meet the expectations set by their previous park, Water Cube. Together with Happy Magic Tourism Consulting, ProSlide identified the opportunity to introduce the world’s first TornadoWAVE and create a one-of-a-kind experience for the park’s guests. As riders build anticipation speed and speeds towards the in-run, the vehicle twists and drops at 100% grade, dropping riders in a freefall into the TornadoWAVE. They sweep across the top of the engineered, curved wall and experience near weightlessness, before transitioning perfectly into the outrun.
