The biggest water park in Sydney, Raging Waters features an astounding 42 water rides and 3 pools, spread out over a sprawling 62 acres.
Raging Waters Sydney is an outdoor water park owned and operated by Spanish-based Parques Reunidos. The park features two ProSlide towers that incorporate a combination of iconic water rides including a MAMMOTH, TORNADO 60, and TORNADO 24.
ProSlide’s first experience working at the park was in 2014 when it was known as Wet ’n Wild Sydney. They installed nine water rides including the popular TornadoWAVE 60 that anchors many of the best parks in the world. Over a 27-year relationship ProSlide has continued to work with Raging Waters on four of their other locations around the world.
By bringing the first TornadoWAVE in Australia to Raging Waters Sydney, ProSlide and Parques Reunidos delivered the industry’s only curved wall to the Australian market. As riders build anticipation from the start, they speed towards the in-run as the vehicle twists and drops at 100% grade and riders freefall into the TornadoWAVE. They sweep across the top of the wall, experiencing near weightlessness, then transitioning into the perfectly positioned outrun.
