Host to 15 high-performance ProSlide water rides, Evergrande’s latest water park is a breathtaking addition to the picturesque Ocean Flower Island.
Earning its name from the three man-made islands that form the shape of a flower, Ocean Flower is a popular tourist destination with world-class amenities like hotels, entertainment centers, culturally inspired shopping districts and more. Conveniently located near the Baimajin rail station, the water park is extremely accessible for any visitors to the island and boasts a tropical climate that assures comfortable weather all season long.
Owned and operated by The Evergrande Group, Ocean Flower Water Park marks the first collaboration between ProSlide and the Chinese real estate developer. Both companies worked together closely to fulfill The Evergrande Group’s vision of leisure and entertainment. Dealing with COVID guidelines, time differences, holidays and collaboration between ProSlide’s Shanghai team, Ottawa team, Evergrande’s engineering team and various suppliers manifested an unwavering level of diligence, commitment, passion and dedication to the incredible project and the client’s vision.
As one of the most high-profile water park projects in China, Ocean Flower Water Park needed an iconic anchor ride to serve as a marquee attraction. To fulfill their vision, ProSlide designed a custom water coaster that holds the title of China’s first 4-person RocketBLAST® Water Coaster, while also being the world’s longest at a staggering 359 meters long. Eight high-powered booster sections use patented water jets to drive inline boats higher, faster and longer than conventional ‘blaster’ coasters.
