As the only high-entertainment theme park in the region, Skara Sommarland keeps guests returning to the park with each new annual innovative thrilling water ride. Originally built in an old gravel quarry, this outdoor water park has become a must-experience Scandinavian destination with five iconic ProSlide attraction.

Relationship

Since 2012, ProSlide and Skara Sommarland have continually added new attractions to the picturesque Scandinavian water park. Beginning with a 4-lane ProRACER in 2012, and most-recently with ProSlide’s first quadruple FlyingSAUCER, Skara Sommarland has transformed into a premier Scandinavian destination.

Opportunities

Skara Sommarland’s abundance of natural features and variation in topography allowed ProSlide’s expert ride designers to develop unique ride paths that enhance the park’s already unique beauty. Thrilling rides like the region’s first TornadoWAVE 60 sends riders twisting and dropping a 100% grade as they freefall into the ride. The world’s first quadruple FlyingSAUCER accelerates riders through its patented high-speed turn, while utilizing the sites landscape to create an immersive, exciting, one-of-a-kind experience. While the competitive ProRACER pits riders against each other in a blistering, high-speed race to the finish, while the FreeFALL sends them down a straight plummet into an almost-vertical drop.
