In 2009 Lalandia, Billund opened its doors to showcase a state-of-the-art vacation resort for the entire family. The resort includes world-class vacation homes and restaurants, along with the Aqua Dome, Scandinavia’s largest Mediterranean themed indoor water park.

Relationship

When ProSlide partnered with Lalandia on their industry-leading Billund water park in 2009, they installed four iconic ProSlide water rides, offering a diversity of thrilling ride experiences. With two PIPElines, an OctopusRACER, and a TORNADO 60, the Aqua Dome featured a robust ride mix that garnered the park some of the highest attendance in the region.

Opportunities

Lalandia in Billund was able to bring Denmark’s first ProSlide TORNADO 60 to their Scandinavian park. Offering a one-of-a-kind experience, this TORNADO anchors the park, drawing in guests and sending them twisting and falling at 100% grade. The country’s first and only OctopusRACER is also present, offering a competitive racing experience shared among friends and family. By being the first to install these high-performing ProSlide water rides in their park, Lalandia secured their status as a Denmark destination.
