Opened in 2019, this park marked the sixth OCT park that ProSlide worked on and the first appearance of a Double TornadoWAVE® and TORNADO® 60 on a single complex.

About

Located in Nanchang City, OCT Nanchang Maya water park is the biggest lakeside water theme park in China. This outdoor water park boasts two of ProSlide’s most iconic water rides ever – the Double TornadoWAVE® and TORNADO® 60 – on a single complex along with a full complement of kid’s rides that make up the KIDZ ZONE.

Relationship

For over ten years, ProSlide and OCT have developed a strong relationship and worked on multiple OCT projects during that time. Together the companies have brought numerous high-performance ProSlide innovations to Chinese audiences including China’s first FlyingSAUCER® at OCT Nanjing and the country’s first HydroMAGNETIC® Water Coaster at OCT Tianjin Happy Valley.

Opportunities

Opening a sprawling lakeside theme park in China meant securing an iconic anchor attraction that offered a unique experience to the guests. To address this need, ProSlide installed the world’s first Double TornadoWAVE® 60 + TORNADO® 60 ride complex. This landmark custom complex gave OCT Nanchang a unique attraction that created distinctiveness and a one-of-a-kind family experience for all its guests.
