On January 11, during the annual AIMS Safety Seminar – the organization’s signature safety-training event for the amusement industry – Andreas Tanzer, our Director of Research & Design, was elected to a three year term on the AIMS Board of Directors.
Andreas has been a member of AIMS International since 2003 and has participated in several of their annual seminars on safety, training and certification. As outlined in their mission statement, AIMS International is “Dedicated to Continuing Safety in the Amusement Industry”.
They also strive to establish communications and foster working relations with other amusement industry trade associations, as well as local, state, and federal government entities; all with the goal of promoting and preserving the prosperity of the amusement industry.
