Water World is the first water park to open in Spain, located on the edge of Lloret de Mar in the Catalonia region, one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations. Opened in 1985, Water World spans an expansive 140,000 m² and features over 20 attractions, including thrilling water slides, family-friendly zones, and relaxing pools. The park caters to visitors of all ages, making it a top destination for water-based fun.
ProSlide first joined forces with the Cama and Tarré family in 2021 at Aquadiver, introducing KIDZ Rides to the park. In 2024, the collaboration expanded to Water World, bringing in a broader range of family attractions, from gentle experiences to bold adventures, designed to engage children across all comfort levels, with safety at the forefront. Marking the third partnership and celebrating Water World’s 40th anniversary, the park unveils Europe’s first Double TornadoWAVE 60, advancing its position as a trailblazer among European water parks.
ProSlide’s involvement at Water World began in May 2024 with the opening of Tornado Land, a KIDZ zone featuring eight children’s slides. This area included the first FlyingSAUCER 8 in EMEA and the world’s first KIDZ Double TornadoWAVE. In May 2025, Water World debuted Europes first Double TornadoWAVE 60, which mirrors the previous year’s smaller version, solidifying the park’s commitment to offering unique and thrilling experiences for families.
