PARK RE-OPENING CHECKLIST
10 Seasonal Reminders

Remove
Ensure any large debris that may have fallen on the ride length is removed. Pay particular attention to any water injection or removal points.

Inspect
Check the fiberglass (interior and exterior) as well as steel components for any signs of damage or corrosion. Check the fiberglass joints for gaps, misalignment and/or degraded sealant.

Report
Identify any structural problems to the proper authority and do not use the deficient flume until the problem(s) have been corrected.

Repair
Identify & fix any gelcoat chips or cracks as well as missing/deteriorated sealant.
5
Wash
& Wax
Clean the ride surface. The exterior can be cleaned with a pressure washer at a pressure not exceeding 2000 psi.

Perform
Conduct any maintenance or start-up procedures on pumps, scales, conveyors, lighting systems etc.
7
Turn on
Initiate water and check for visible dry spots due to blocked sprinklers.
8
Confirm
Double check that flow rates and water levels are correct.
9
Take Stock
Review the inventory to ensure sufficient spare parts and ride vehicle quantities.
10
Ride
Test the ride with a lifeguard or water ride attendant before opening to public.
