WATER SLIDES

Minimize condensation to maintain gelcoat appearance. For enclosed flumes extending outside, install Flume Blockers during park shutdown to conserve energy in cold climates.

Keep the Water Saturation Index between -0.3 and +0.5 to avoid scaling and corrosion issues.

Limit fibreglass surface exposure to high chlorine (10ppm). Turn water off during shock treatment.

Remove scaling/residue by scrubbing with melamine foam for a smooth and clean surface.

Avoid using excessively high pressure when operating a pressure washer on gelcoat surfaces, as this can cause premature wear.
Inspect surfaces and touch-up any areas where paint is peeling regularly to prevent corrosion.

Ensure that all panel cabinets are closed/sealed when not in use to prevent corrosion or water damage.

Monitor and repair leaks promptly, especially for outdoor sections to prevent the formation of icicles.
RIDEHOUSE
Inspect water toys for damage, including chips and scratches, dents, clogged nozzles and stiff or seized bearings. Clean painted metal surfaces.
Verify play structure netting is not frayed and is properly attached to its support structure.
Check that all permanently attached theming elements are securely fastened to their mountings.

Ensure steps, decks, and roofs (including grout) as well as non-slip surfaces and fibreglass are free of wear or damage.

Survey towers and support foundations for cracks, missing or loose fasteners or concrete, or any other signs of damage or deterioration.

Check base plates for missing or loose fasteners and metal components for rusting or coating failure where painted.

Inspect piping supports, hangers, side protection, guardrails, and fasteners for damage or looseness.

Remove any sharp objects. Check water ride surfaces for scuffs or voids, and then clean and wax the surfaces.
