We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Communications Specialist to join our growing Marketing team.  Reporting to the Director, Global Marketing, the Communication Specialist role is an integral part of creating and delivering written information, both internally and externally in a B2B market landscape. In this role the incumbent needs to be agile, flexible, strategic and tactical keeping in mind the core messaging of the firm.

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.


YOUR CHALLENGE:

Crafting and capturing the voice of the company globally, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Storytelling:

  • Create company literature and other forms of communication, being able to “storytell”
  • Copyedit, proofread and revise communications
  • Craft white paper content for thought leadership pieces
  • Develop new angles for story ideas
  • Other content creation as needed

Sales Collateral:

  • Prepare briefing materials
  • Create copy for features and benefit product brochures
  • Work cross-functionally with teams to support creation of client proposals and sales materials

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Support and provide copy for email marketing campaigns
  • Create content for marketing and promotional materials for both print and digital
  • Coordinate external and internal communications flow and content (memos, newsletters etc.)
  • Manage the advertising schedule and timelines
  • Create ad copy for global ad placements
  • Support social media planning with content for posts on all platforms
  • Work with external partners on google adwords, research, tracking and analytics
  • Catalogue key phrases and company descriptions for consistent messaging

Website Content:

  • Write and refresh content for all pages
  • Construct content for SEO purposes
  • Work on lead generation and nurturing campaigns

Public Relations

  • Develop press releases as needed
  • Communicate with media as needed

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field a must
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related role, agency experience highly recommended
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Work well under pressure and can meet tight deadlines
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools
  • Working knowledge of sales force and InDesign a nice to have
  • Content writing experience for all media platforms
  • Proven social media and networking expertise
  • Strategic and creative mindset
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • A portfolio of work available for review
