Sales Operations Specialist

We are looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to join our Sales Operations team! This key role, reporting directly to Sales Operations Manager, works closely with the Sales, Marketing and Master Planning Team to ensure a superior customer experience in all that we do. Sales Operations Specialists are a direct extension of our Global Sales Team and are there to improve both the effectiveness and efficiency of our Sales efforts.  They work to ensure our Sales Goals are met and that our Sales Process is available and maintained across all members of the Sales Team.

Your Challenge:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our processes and be the trusted partner to our Global Sales Team
  • Assist in responding to RFP’s, preparing quotations and developing agreements
  • Track customer, partner and industry activities to ensure accurate up-to-the-minute forecasting of opportunities and other reporting requirements
  • Champion and be a super-user of the CRM and other company sales tools, to ensure they are kept accurate thru either direct entry or the training of users
  • In collaboration with other departments, develop, maintain and update the Sales Catalogue, standard sales templates, master agreements, contracts etc…
  • Work on periodic special projects such developing new sales materials, process improvement, launching campaigns and other duties as required

What you bring to the role:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in a sales support role
  • Understanding of the sales process, specifically in a B2B environment
  • Experience and a passion for CRM tools, preferably Salesforce, is an asset
  • Naturally thrives collaborating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to multitask between proactive and reactive work, while hitting deadlines with little supervision
  • Appreciation for accuracy and a strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of productivity tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Well rounded team player who is energetic, flexible and solid interpersonal skills
