The ride which will be in the northwest part of the park, is tucked between three other rides so the Lost Island installation team has been working around those existing rides as the new Water Coaster gets put together, piece by piece!

Holiday World & Splashin' Safari Announces New Proslide
Hydromagnetic Rocket™ For 2010!

August 13, 2009 - Holiday World & Splashin' Safari announces their new record-breaking $5.5 million ride, the second largest ride investment in the theme park's 63-year history. Splashin' Safari will open their 2010 season with a ProSlide HydroMAGNETIC ROCKET™, the world's longest at over 1,710 feet long! "We're calling our huge new water coaster Wildebeest," says park president Will Koch. "And when we say it's long, we really mean it. Wildebeest is one-third of a mile long and it will thrill riders for two-and-a-half splashing minutes of hills, drops, twists and turns."

Siam Park is the newest and most exciting water park in Europe! Set in the stunning surroundings of the Canary Islands in Tenerife, Spain, Siam Park is the largest waterpark in Europe with over 30 acres of specially themed rides, pools & rivers. With 3 years in the making, this dynamic & thrilling waterpark is set into the side of a volcanic mountain overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and is complimented by the ancient Thailand theming throughout.

Packed with excitement and adrenalin pumping rides like the “Tower of Power” (ProSlide’s Plummet™) that drops riders 91ft straight down and through an alligator tank and the daring “Dragon” (ProSlide’s award-winning Tornado™) that defies gravity 4-riders at a time, Siam Park has a thrill for everyone. Other signature rides include the “Naga Racer” (ProSlide ProRacer™), a head first 6-lane race to the bottom of the mountain, and the “Jungle Snakes” (ProSlide Pipelines™) that have riders in 2-person tubes winding their way down four different mountain slides at top speeds.

Working with the natural surroundings & preserving the history and culture of Tenerife was very important to owner Christoph Kiessling and ProSlide. Portions of the mountain were literally carved away to allow the rides to blend into the hillside and the spectacular landscaping was allowed to flourish naturally around them. Mount Teide, an extinct volcano that stands 12,198 feet (3718 meters) high, was key in the design and building of the entire park and each ride complex uses the natural elevation of the mountain for starting point entry and had no requirement for structural towers of any kind. “The entire ProSlide team is extremely pleased and very proud to be involved with such an important waterpark like Siam Park.
