You will provide a wide range of HR support including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, talent management and development, total rewards, retention and engagement. You will be a key contributor as ProSlide builds a world-class organization, team and culture!

You will:

  • Develop and cultivate trust-based relationships across all departments and operate as a business partner, understanding ProSlide’s business strategies and goals
  • Work closely with the HR team to design and implement people and culture programs across the company
  • Manage Talent Acquisition process to attract top talent in Ottawa, Asia, U.S and Europe
  • Participate in employer branding efforts to attract and retain top talent
  • Plan and conduct new hire onboarding to ensure successful integration, engagement and retention of new employees.
  • Counsel and coach managers on managing performance, employee development, total rewards, organizational change and culture.
  • Manage HR administration (HRIS, files, benefits and pension enrollment) and respond to all employee inquiries regarding HR services, programs and policies
  • Develop and implement global policies and procedures that are in compliant with local legislation and regulations
  • Work closely with the Talent & Culture team on initiatives to build and reinforce company culture and drive employee engagement.
  • Constantly look for opportunities to improve programs and processes to support the changing needs of the business

What you bring to the table:

  • A strong HR Generalist/Business Partner background with 5 years’ of experience
  • Your CHRP/CHRL or are working towards it
  • Exceptional relationship building skills and the ability to inspire trust and confidence with stakeholders at all levels
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence with great critical thinking skills and the ability to identify, assess, diagnose needs and issues.
  • Solid business acumen and can draw on your experience and expertise to advise, counsel and coach managers
  • Team player, excited to collaborate and willing to jump in a help out when needed.
  • Great sense of humour and you don’t mind if your day is a little crazy. In fact, you thrive in a constantly changing environment.       You’re organized enough that you’re able to effortlessly balance changing deadlines and priorities
  • Desire to be in an entrepreneurial, innovative and fast paced culture. You thrive in an environment where few things are black and white and have a comfort level with situations that require both a tactical and strategic focus
  • Understand the importance of being detailed but always keep the big picture in mind
  • Have a passion for forward-thinking and innovative HR practices
