We are looking for a Documentation Control Clerk (Contract role) to join our Quality Management department. Reporting to the Quality Systems Manager, you will are responsible for managing engineering document control functions including: maintaining configuration identification, product and documentation release process and the change control process. This position is a contract role to cover a maternity leave. This position can also be a part-time role if preferable for the candidate.


  • Document and maintain configuration identification
  • Establish and maintain configuration control and status accounting on all released part numbers and documentation
  • Manage and maintain integrity of project documentation
  • Ensure document articles are filed, transacted and disseminated


  • 1+ year(s) of related experience in: administration, record management, data entry or document control
  • Document Control/Configuration Management experience is an asset
  • Hands-on PDM/MRP/ERP systems experience required, experience with Javelin is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of document management and records management
  • Familiar with engineering document control procedures.
  • Working knowledge of roles, tasks, procedures required to execute the change process, configuration management, and product-related data in a PDM/ERP system.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and thorough proofreading skills
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexible team-orientated attitude and ability to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), listening, and collaboration skills.
