We know how important it is to listen and ask the right questions, to build on each other’s ideas and strive to better our own best work.
Rick is recognized as one of the most passionate thought leaders in the water park industry. With a background in alpine ski racing, he got his start in the attractions business in 1980 and founded ProSlide in 1986.
Rick has pioneered almost every major water ride innovation and has been instrumental in shaping this industry. He owns 56 patents – with many more pending – on key water ride technologies he’s invented.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Rick is a charter honoree of the World Waterpark Association Hall of Fame.
Rick entered his first ski race when he was 15 years old. Four years later he was skiing for Canada’s national team and soon after, racing on the World Cup circuit.
Jeff has been with ProSlide since 1989 and has been involved in the development of almost every major water park in the world. He’s done it all. From water ride design, fabrication and installation to park operations and marketing.
Jeff brings a wealth of best practices to every customer relationship.
Jeff has been downhill skiing since he was four years old. He’s a top-level ski instructor who was lucky enough to teach at a Club Med resort in the Swiss Alps in his 20’s.
Before joining ProSlide in 2012, Joe spent 15+ years in customer-facing roles with global technology and manufacturing companies.
His experience helping companies refine operations; manage change; and implement measurable, repeatable objectives has positioned ProSlide for flawless execution.
Joe started playing baseball when he was six years old. The highlight of his ‘career’ was working as the bullpen catcher for the American League’s Toronto Blue Jays when he was a university student.
When he joined the team in 2011, Dave brought extensive experience in organizational development and strategic planning. He has led product design and development teams and managed a $100M business unit. He is expert in implementing repeatable processes to improve project outcomes.
Dave is a Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) and Professional Engineering Manager (PEM).
An avid golfer, Dave once rode an elevator with Arnold Palmer. After descending five stories without saying a word, he finally managed an awkward ‘pleasure to meet you sir’ as the golf great walked out the door.
After 20 years with ProSlide, David’s role far exceeds that of a typical CFO. He truly understands the business end-to-end. His industry expertise enables him to help customers and partners in many areas: water ride selection, contracts, insurance issues, international trade and much more.
David is a chartered accountant by training.
David is a passionate soccer fan who rarely misses watching his team play (Go Arsenal!). He continues to lace up his cleats and play recreational soccer with his buddies. When the snow flies, you’ll find him on the ski slopes.
Andreas has been with ProSlide from the beginning, helping drive water ride designs and engineering. He’s a tireless advocate for water ride safety and a main architect of the ASTM standards for our industry.
Andreas’ contributions were recognized by the World Waterpark Association with the Kelly Ogle Memorial Safety Award.
With a father who designed and built sailboats, it’s no surprise that Andreas spent much of his youth on the water, racing and sailing boats of his own.
Mitch has spent his entire career planning entertainment venues, from ski resorts and golf courses to amusement and water parks. Before joining ProSlide in 2010, Mitch was a senior designer with Forrec.
At ProSlide he leads a team of highly experienced, massively creative water park designers.
In college, Mitch played NCAA lacrosse and was elected team captain three years in a row. He is now an award-winning home beer brewer. Recently his American Pale Ale beat out 300 competitors to take home a gold medal.
Prior to joining ProSlide in 2007, Ray ran his own construction company. His strong entrepreneurial drive and business training helped him turn a $10k start-up loan into $200k in revenues in his first year. Ray has also worked as an electrical engineer in the automotive industry.
At ProSlide, Ray leads a team of product strategists and developers. He was instrumental in the development of our award-winning – and exclusive – linear induction motor (LIM) water coaster technology.
Ray has been on skates since he was 3 years old and played professional hockey for an affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Minnesota Wild.
